At one point or another we all think, wouldn’t it be nice to be my own boss and work at home. This dream to some of us is becoming a reality for many. To see if you can make this happen in your own like, consider the following.Will you be willing to work at two jobs as you build you new business? The safest way to make the transition from a nine to five job to being an entrepreneur is to build your business part time, keeping your old job. If you leave your old job, the pressure to succeed quickly can cause the failure of many businesses that would have made it.

If you keep your old job you have money to support your family. You also can support the new business with added capital if needed. When your new company starts making money you can consider leaving your old career.

When you are making money, this will have been generated from part time hours of work. So, now that the money is coming in and you’re quitting your old job, do you work at your new business full time? You can of course, but since you are now making good money you could also just stay part time. Think of all the free time you will have.

If someone told you that you could make 100,000 a year working twenty hours a week, I assume you’d take the job. Wouldn’t that make working at two careers for a while well worth it? I can’t imagine anyone saying no to that.

First, find something you like. If you have a hobby that can become a business you will have a job that you love that can last a lifetime. If you don’t find something like that, then connect your new venture with what you want to get out of life. This will give you the focus and drive needed to succeed on your own.

Here are a couple of types of business that can bring you the work from home life that you are looking for. There are many, many other options but I’ll give you a couple. Network marketing and selling products online both can fit this mold.

Multi level marketing (MLM) with the right company can build into big money. As people join your team to sell products you benefit from their work also. If people agree to monthly orders you create a nice residual income.

In many network marketing, plans people will be buying products monthly, for which you receive commissions. The reason this works is that the company doesn’t advertise in any conventional ways. They pay you for finding customers. Then there are also commissions paid for the customers your customers sign up, etc., etc.

If you don’t feel you’d like person to person selling, the selling stuff on the internet is a good choice. You get a website that acts as a store where people can see what you have to sell. Your store will be open all the time and can get customers from anywhere. You can build a huge business this way.

There are all kinds of things you can choose to do. If you have the drive and passion to get out of the workplace and making a living on your own, you can make it happen. You generally will be rewarded with making better money in less time!

Most of us get spam trying to sell us things, most commonly prescriptions, cheap mortgage rates, online gambling and other, more “adult” topics. Most of us just delete them or hit the “spam” button and move on. There are some other types of spam that are a little more serious, however.One well-known example, circulating for years now, is the Nigerian bank scam. The sender, allegedly the wife or relative of a former dictator or government official (usually in Nigeria, hence the name) tells the sad story of how millions were deposited in a bank account which is no longer accessible. They always claim to be risk-free naturally, but once you’ve sent them your money it’s highly unlikely you’ll ever see any of it again, let alone profit. A similar scam involves credit cards for people with poor credit ratings. You send them a security deposit and processing charge and they send you a credit card. Unfortunately, once they have your fees you’ll never hear from them again.

These scams can also effect legitimate businesses you might be dealing with. Because there is so much spam these days, the email services are working hard to filter it out. These filters can sometimes stop legitimate messages, however, and you may not receive something you wanted.

How To Avoid Getting Scammed

First, never reply to spam. This just tells the spammer that your email is in fact valid and the amount of spam you’ll receive will quickly multiply. Some spam will even include a link at the bottom for removing yourself from their list. If it’s a true spam email, don’t use this – it just confirms your email address as well. If you did sign up to receive the email however, this is a legitimate way of removing yourself from future mailings.

Above all, never give your credit card number, bank account details or private data to anyone unknown over the Internet. PayPal, for example, and other legitimate online businesses will never ask for your password in an email. One common scam is to fake return addresses and tailor subject lines and content so the message appears to be from them or another financial institution ‘confirming’ your information. Don’t fall for them.

What is spam to one person may be a welcomed advertisement to another, so it isn’t a simple thing to stop. But in general, if you don’t recognize the person sending you the message, it’s probably not someone you wanted to hear from. After all, how many former dictators can there really be in Nigeria?

Make Money With Adwords Cheap Content Network Ads

If you want to make money with Adwords, you will need to keep up to date with the new strategies that are constantly appearing, as well as keeping pace with the changes that Google makes to its Adwords policies.In 2007, with the publication of Day Job Killer, Adwords became a game of ‘kill the competition’. But for Adwords advertisers, it means that the content network has opened up again.

Advantages of advertising on the content network instead of the search network include a cheaper cost per click, and a lot more control. You can actually pick the exact sites that you want your ad to appear on.

The last point there is very important. When setting up a campaign for the content network, always specify target sites for your ads. In fact, you should specify not only the site, but the exact pages of the site.

Just like with the search network, you need to avoid having people click when they are not really interested, and you do that by picking out pages that are very closely related to your product. For example if you are promoting a dog training ebook, you will want your ad on a site about dogs but only on the dog training pages.

It is also better to pick out sites that have their Adsense ads ‘above the fold’ so that people see them as soon as the page is opened, without having to scroll down. Ads in the ‘hot’ area toward the top left of the screen will usually do best.
